1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ZeroAI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Services
ZeroAI is a mobile application (Android & iOS) that provides the following AI-powered tools:
- AI Detector — Detects AI-generated content in text or uploaded files (.pdf, .txt, .docx) and generates downloadable PDF reports.
- AI Humanizer — Rewrites AI-generated content in customizable tones and purposes (Essay, Story, Cover Letter, etc.).
- Plagiarism Checker — Scans text and documents for duplicate content and lists matched sources.
- Text Summarizer — Condenses large text into concise summaries with a customizable ratio.
- Grammar Checker — Corrects grammar, spelling, style, and syntax errors.
- History & Cache — Stores all past operations locally for easy review.
- Built-in PDF Viewer — Opens and reviews generated reports within the App.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all content you submit. By using the App, you confirm that:
- You own or have the legal right to submit the content.
- Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
- You understand that AI results are probabilistic and may not always be accurate.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Submit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content.
- Use AI-humanized content to deceive in academic or professional contexts where that is prohibited.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code.
- Use bots or automated scripts to abuse the Service.
- Resell or commercially exploit the App or its outputs without written authorization.
- Upload malicious files or malware.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights to the App — including its design, code, and branding — belong to the ZeroAI developer. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a limited license to process it solely to deliver the Service.
7. Permissions & Data Access
The App requests only the permissions needed for its functionality:
Android:
- Internet — To connect to APIs, WebSockets, and download files.
- Post Notifications — To alert you when background tasks complete (Android 13+).
- FileProvider — To safely share PDF reports with other apps.
iOS:
- Background Fetch — To check server task status when the App is minimized.
- Remote Notifications — To notify you of completed tasks via Apple Push Notifications.
- Document Picker & Local Storage — To pick files from the Files app/iCloud and save exported reports.
Permissions are never used for advertising or tracking.
8. Premium Features & Payments
Free usage is subject to word and scan limits. Premium plans unlock unlimited usage and advanced PDF reports. All purchases are processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store and subject to their billing and refund policies. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI detection, plagiarism, or grammar results will be fully accurate or suitable for any specific legal, academic, or professional purpose. Always apply independent judgment before relying on App outputs.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the ZeroAI developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss or reliance on AI-generated results. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim, or $10 USD if no payment was made.
11. Privacy
Content you submit is processed solely to deliver the requested service. Operation history is cached locally on your device. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent. Background processing via WebSockets collects no additional personal data beyond what is needed to complete your task.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. All licenses granted to you will immediately end upon termination.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the developer's jurisdiction.
